Maintenance Worker

Cleans and disinfects restrooms. Cleans visitor use areas throughout the park. Makes minor building repairs or alterations such as replacing or repairing doors and windows, repairing steps, walks and ramps. Performs interior and exterior painting. Performs minor electrical repairs. Performs minor plumbing repairs. Performs ground maintenance. Functions as helper to maintenance personnel. This is a Career-Seasonal position. A permanent career-seasonal position includes all the benefits of permanent employment, but does not provide employment on a full year-round basis. As such, selectee will be in a non-pay/non-duty status for at least 2 weeks to 6 months per year based on project requirements or weather conditions. Selectee are guaranteed to work at least 6 months per year but not more than 50 weeks per year, with the work schedule to be determined upon appointment. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability To Do The Work Of the Position Without More Than Normal Supervision.(SCREEN OUT) Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment. Use of measuring instruments. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc Applicants must be physically fit and, as required in Office of Personnel Management Qualifications Handbook X-118C, must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the elements listed in Section 25 of the Online Occupational Questionnaire to perform the duties of the position at the level for which they are applying. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
